We are proud to present this year's programme for the Medieval Week 2017 in Numedal. We look forward to see you on our exciting events for young and old. The Medieval Week has been arranged since 2001 and has various events spread over a large geographical area.
We have two distinct event types: In part, we offer events with focus on the Middle Ages: Concerts, lectures, exhibitions and performances. In short: Events where you are spectator. But: You can also participate yourself! This is the "active" side of the festival. We offer classes in traditional handicraft techniques. Here you can learn to make real medieval clothes, you can learn to forge metal objects, make log houses or make useful utensils. We also arrange pilgrimages and guided tours.
