Old crafting techniques of many kinds have a central place at The Medieval Week. On several historical farmsteads you will find exhibitions of artifacts. You will find many products made from traditional methods, most of them for sale.
The Medieval Week ends with a large medieval market where traditional techniques such as basket making, weaving, needle-binding and knife-making are displayed. Metal products are forged and clothes are made on site. Last but not least: Food is boiled, fried and baked! You will witness first hand how these crafts are done out and buy the resulting items.
